Review: Australia, Daintree, Kata Tjuta & Uluru, Sydney Bike Tour, Dot Painting Class, Winery Tour & Food

My favorite thing was the itinerary. It was so fun and diverse. Here are some favorite bits:
Sydney: the bike tour was so fun. We covered so much ground, we had a great guide and it's such a beautiful city. Glad we went to Featherdale wildlife park. We were surprised that was the only time we saw kangaroos and wallabies during the whole trip.
Uluru: We loved the hikes here. We had a good guide for the Kata Tjuta morning. The dot painting class was a surprise hit.
Port Douglas: Great restaurants! Loved our freezing cold snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef. The naturalist was so good that I wasn't scared to swim with a white tipped reef shark. The Daintree day was fabulous too. The rainforest hike, but especially the time spent hiking and hunting around the mudflats and mangroves. We felt like we were in Survivor learning to throw spears!
Melbourne: We loved the wine and food tasting tour that our planner set up for us. We got a great group and it turned into a fabulous and delicious party. The winery tour was changed to the Mornington Peninsula at the last minute. It turned out to be a wonderful day. Such lovely scenery and brilliant wines.
