Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our travel agent provided great planning for us. We wanted individual travel by car and other means of transportation. She gave us just what we were looking for. She arranged all of our ground trnasportation and car rentals. These were just excellent. She arranged for ferry, and train trips as well. These were always on time and just what we wanted. Our travel agent arranged all of our tours and they were all excellent. All were either private or in small groups which really enhanced our experiences. Our travel agent also arranged our lodging in both Australia and New Zealand. The hotels and B&Bs we top notch.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

All of the tours our travel agent planned for us. We highly recommend this tour company.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Never fly Air New Zealand internationally. They cancelled flights and made flight changes to our itinerary after we had booked our travel. These changes caused a great deal of discomfort in travel and in one case resulted in significantly longer travel than originally scheduled. Air New Zealand did not notify us of these changes. We only found them when we check on our flights 5 months after we booked them. Had we known about these changes initially we would have planned the trip schedule completely differently. NEVER use Air New Zealand except in country!
