Review: Honeymoon in Croatia, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split, Krka National Park, Catamaran Cruise, Wine Tour, Romance

Working with this travel agency in planning our trip to Croatia was an absolute pleasure. Our travel specialist understood what we where looking for and planned the trip accordingly. After an initial email exchange, we soon compromised at our ideal itinerary for the dates that we had set and within budget.

The trip itself to Croatia was simply breathtaking. Dubrovnik, a beautiful historic city followed by Hvar, one of the most gorgeous islands and finally Split. Our itinerary was well paced and we managed to see all major sites at our own pace although wouldn't have minded few more days in Dubrovnik to soak it all in :) Actually we would not have minded another week in Croatia overall as it is such an extraordinary place with so many hidden gems. 

All our accommodation for the trip where in great locations with access to all main areas (or close to public transport). To get to Hvar we had to use a catamaran and our travel specialist helped me book the correct trips. One of our legs ended up being cancelled due to bad weather but we were quickly redirected to alternative trips back to the mainland from Hvar so we still managed to stick to our itinerary. 

Only note on Hvar, it is very tourist based city so as we went at the very start of the season (beginning May), many beach places were closed. I would hate to be there on peak tourist season but would probably recommend end of May, beginning of June for Hvar where most things are abuzz.

Finally we where very satisfied with our trip to Croatia and we will definitely be back. A big thank you to our travel agency for helping us plan this amazing trip. Our travel specialist even went the extra mile to make sure the places treated us extra special as it was our honeymoon :) Thank you once again.
