Review: Italy Family Vacation, Venice, Rome, Amalfi Coast, Positano, Pompeii, Florence Cooking Class, Path of Gods Hike

I would say our visit to the Amalfi Coast was the most memorable part of our trip.  Our driver picked us up from the train station in Naples and wound up being our driver for the 3 days that we were there which made it nice to have a familiar face and he really made sure that we had the best experiences while we were there.  We arrived on my daughter's 18th birthday and spent the day hiking along the Amalfi Coast on the Path of Gods.  It was amazing!  The next day we spent the entire day stopping off and visiting some amazing cities, including Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and Pompeii.  That day was a busy action packed day and we wound up taking more time visiting the first 3 cities which caused us to be late for our tour in Pompeii.   When we realized that we would be late meeting with our tour guide, our driver got in touch with her and she very patiently waited an extra 90 minutes for us.  On our last day in Sorrento we spent the day on a boat tour to Capri.  It was just what we needed.  It was very relaxing after walking around the previous 5 days.  Our boat captain took us to a really nice local restaurant.

We also all loved our cooking class in Florence!!
