Review: Italy, Milan, Lake Como, Bellagio, Lake Maggiore, Cinque Terre, Bologna, Turin, Truffle Hunting, Culinary & Wine Tours

We found the walking tours to be a bit much with a lot of information and standing. It would have been nice to visit the same places but cut it to two hours with just a general overview. 

We wouldn't have minded having one more day in Cinque Terre to just relax and enjoy the beach and we would have loved to have had the food tours on the first day of arrival as they would have helped up pick restaurants for the rest of the stay. We greatly appreciated the restaurant list, but found it to be a bit outdated and the location of a number of restaurants to be far away.

We are still confused by the Lake Maggiore excursion. It seems an early dinner or late lunch would be best so you could also spend some time exploring the island.

First class train tickets we found are definitely the way to go. Often though on our travels to new locations we found ourselves passing by areas we had already visited. Was the zig zagging necessary or could the itinerary have been laid out better to make more efficient use of our time?

All in all, we had a wonderful trip and brought back with us a lifetime of memories. I truly enjoyed working with our travel specialist. She was detailed, fun, conscientious and forthright. I am sorry we didn't get to connect while we were in Venice.
