The people!. My travel planner's attention to detail. Everything--BELLISSIMA!!! I witnessed a real Italian wedding. The bride and groom were beautiful! They posed for a picture for me. Spectacular!!!!!
AMALFI COAST: Lost myself in the enormous scenic view. Had a villa with a scenic view of the village below and the ocean. Surreal!! Private tour of Pompeii... just myself and a very clean cut young gentleman. We became life family!! Food tasting in the backyard if a family. All the vegetables were grown in the yard! The husband was cooking outside in a brick oven. Group of five people. They were of class... EVERYONE!
We ate for hours. The wife served food and the daughter showed us her pet frog.
So sweet!. The family was incredible and the food... out of this world. My tour planner did all this with great care and personal detail. My day at the beach in Positano was like heaven was the pebble beach and the mountains above me were God's Heavenly earth. My spirits were lifted. It was mind blowing CALM!!!
ROME: the tour of St Peter's and the Sistine Chapel was done by a brilliant historian. I was enlightened and greatly educated... the art, the history, the culture... beyond words!! The tour guide at the Colosseum was an archeologist. She was brilliant!!! The experiences in Rome brought me to an even greater height of enlightenment! Unbelievable
The Basillica, The Sistine Chapel. Amazement. OUTSTANDING.
THE Vatican Museums... it just goes on and on an on.
Did I mention in my travels, the Spanish Steps, the David, The Pieta, The wild boar statue, the Trevi Fountain!.
Also while Rome, I saw Pope Frances Say the Benediction Services. I had a front row seat on the grand fountain. My travel planner suggested I get their early.
WOW. I PRAYED FOR EVERYONE I COULD THINK OF!!!!!!!!!
