Overall we were very pleased with our trip in Italy. Our travel agent and her team of tour guides were professional and went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction with our hotels and slate of activities. We were especially pleased with tour guides whose expertise and local insights proved invaluable.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We loved our walking tours organized by our travel agent and led by our guide in Florence. Our guide's knowledge and expertise in the areas of art and history were remarkable. When asked, she generously offered suggestions for local restaurants that proved to be some of the best food we had during our entire trip in Italy.
Our stay at Borgo Scopeto was exceptional -- lovely grounds, villa, accommodations and helpful staff. The landscape and setting were a notable highlight of our trip.
We loved our wine tasting luncheon. The food and wine were delicious and our host was warm, welcoming and delightful.
Many thanks and appreciation to our drivers and guides, and to the wonderful limousine driver who took us to the Pisa Airport our last morning in Italy. They all made us feel very "welcome" and went out of their way to share their insights about the area's history, culture, traditions and lore. Grazie molto apprezzato!
The evening in Lucca --- moving, memorable and a lasting memory of our stay in Lucca.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Add a cooking class and another wine-tasting experience to our slate of activities perhaps.
