Review: Luxury Croatia Vacation, Dubrovnik, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Game of Thrones Walking Tour

Our favourite part of the trip was Dubrovnik. We really enjoyed the sights and feel of the old town. We took in a guided walking tour (including Game of Thrones sites), a cable car ride, the Museum of Croatian War of Independence and spent a lot of time exploring on foot. The old town was charming and safe feeling. Our accommodation at the Villa R&R was perfect. It was so close to everything and we really enjoyed lounging on the patio. The owners really went the extra mile. Every morning fresh pastries showed up on the table outside our suite and on my husband’s birthday they left a happy birthday note with a souvenir. The suit included a wash basin and laundry soap so you could clean your clothes. One day my husband left dirty laundry on the floor and we came back to find they had washed it for him and hung it to dry! We would definitely recommend staying at Villa R&R.

Visiting multiple cities allowed us to enjoy the perfect combination of history and nature.
