Our European travel agency did a tremendous job planning and executing plans for our honeymoon to Paris and Northern Italy. From my initial planning meeting with the owner of the agency, it was clear she had a desire to understand and meet our every need. The itineraries contained all the information we needed, down to the finest detail. Our tour guides were excellent and the tours suggested were fantastic. The hotels were absolutely amazing. One was more opulent than the last. This agency makes great effort to establish relationships with the agency and it showed. We amazing service at every stop. Our trip went smoothly from start to finish. When we return to Italy, this company will be planning the trip! I recommend them without reservation.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We enjoyed the entire trip, but our visit to Venice was most memorable. We stayed at a hotel near St. Marks square. By coincidence, we stayed on Remembrance Day holiday. We began our day with a private boat ride and tour of New Murano Glass, followed by a ride to Burano. We took a leisurely ferry ride back and found a wonderful lunch spot is a little ally. After a leisurely afternoon, the day culminated with the holiday fireworks over the lagoons. We opened the window in our second story room and watched the fireworks as we looked over thousands of people and boats below.

Another highlight was our wine tasting dinner at Castello Banfi. It was truly one of the best meals of our lives. It was so good, we went back the next night.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would change only one thing... request not to be booked on EasyJet. EasyJet has some of the most strict rules for hand luggage among all airlines. After traveling first class on a US airline to Europe, it was difficult to get our carry-on bags to meet the weight restrictions of EasyJet. Thanks to my obsession with details, I had checked the EasyJet restrictions prior to departure from the US. I was quite sure our hand luggage met the measurement requirements, although it was VERY close. Fortunately, we were able to get our luggage on board, but not without some worry. I encourage the agency to be mindful of the hand luggage restrictions on non-US carriers and inform their customers in advance of booking.
