Review: Luxury Family Tour of Spain & Morocco, Fez, Casablanca, Seville, Granada, Ronda

I would travel differently through Morocco.  We flew into Casablanca, then drove to Fes.  The drive was much longer than anticipated, and in general we found it unsafe (we passed multiple accidents along the way and saw lots of bad driving).  Had I know there was a airport in Fes, I would have opted for that option and skipped Casablanca altogether, as there was nothing to do or see there.  Aside from that, the trip was wonderful and the Spanish potion in particular was perfect!

Dear Kelly Ann, thank you for your time filling in your Zicasso travel review. It makes us very happy to see that your family and you had a great trip to Spain and Morocco and you took back home great memories. Regarding your comments about the way we planned your days around Morocco, maybe I had to explain better for future requests that Casablanca is the big hub in the country and the best way to fly in / out, especially when you want to visit Fez is through Casablanca. I always suggest to fly into Casablanca and then private driver to Fez because this way we reduce the time traveling and we make more efficient your trip. Otherwise, if you fly into Fez there is one stop in Casablanca (no direct flight) and if we add the stop time plus flight plus claim luggage and transfer to your hotel, all this time is always more than double than traveling by car.
 
When I send the estimated driving times between cities, I always say this as an estimation. I have been driving in Morocco since 1999 and I am constantly travelling through the country and I really know that this is always an estimation. As you could see, traffic or any other issues makes very difficult to be precise on the estimations. I appreciate your comment and in the future I will always stress more that driving times are estimated. But, as I said, travelling by car is always shorter than flying.
