Review: Luxury Greece Honeymoon, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Acropolis, Akrotiri, Sunset Catamaran Cruise & Snorkeling, Hiking

We had events planned for each stop of our trip.  Here are a few of our favorites. We loved doing the walking tour and seeing the Acropolis.  We also enjoyed all of the ancient ruins and history of Athens.  We think it is an under-rated city and it is a must to stop in a for at least a full day. We really enjoyed our 7 course dinner at the hotel in Mykonos.  The grilled octopus was out of this world.  The beaches are nice, but this island is more of a party island.  Santorini was by far our favorite stop on our honeymoon.  The island is incredibly beautiful.  We felt like we were living in a picture book during our entire stay in Oia, Santorini.  We enjoyed visiting the ruins of the buried city of Akrotiri and then visiting three island wineries. One day we took a 5 hour hike through in Santorini.  This is a great memory we have of just exploring and seeing Santorini from a completely different view.  Bring lots of water with you!   Lastly, I am a person who easily gets sea sick so I was weary to do the Catamaran Sunset Cruise.  I did not get sea sick at all and it was the highlight of our trip.  It is well organized, you get to stop at three beaches and snorkel, eat a great dinner and then watch the unbelievably beautiful sunset.  I wish we would have stayed longer in Oia, Santorini.
