Our twelve day tour of Italy was a home run, largely as a result of the work of our travel agent. For my wife's birthday gift I was looking for a customized tour that allowed for plenty of free time and adventure but minimized the risk of logistical drama. Zicasso came thru.

As requested, there were people waiting to assist us at every point we needed them making it very easy to relax into the experience. The hotel picks were excellent, well located, clean, inviting and romantic. Our agent responded to my description of what we enjoy with thoughtful suggestions for highlight activities that fit us well.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

My wife's inspiration for this trip was a music box that she remembered from her childhood that played " The Isle of Capri". When we walked into a shop in Sorrento that has been making those wood inlay music boxes for 5 generations and found one exactly like it, there were tears of joy and gratitude that are hard to describe.

Additionally, the cooking lessons in Tuscany were an absolute blast and we're already starting to use the skills we acquired.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

This trip was the right balance of adventure and relaxation for us and I would make perhaps one minor change if I were to do it over but we're talking about the difference between fantastic and more fantastic.
