Review: Luxury Italy Tour, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Cashmere Farm Tour, Cooking Class, Palio Horse Races

There were a few items that could be improved. 

The travel agency should be more explicit in their itinerary about what portions of the tour have already been paid for and what has not.  This led to some confusion, as 1 wine tasting with food sampling was already paid for, but I wasn't aware of this and so we skipped the activity.  At other times a visit to the interior of the Duomo in Siena was not included as part of the tour, but we were able to add it by paying for it ourselves.

Finally, the hotel in Colle Val d'Elsa was not as excellent as the other hotels on the trip.  The hotel itself was nice enough, but it wasn't centrally located enough to have many interesting places to visit nearby.  We would have enjoyed ourselves more with a more centrally located hotel either in Colle Val d'Elsa or an alternative nearby city.
