This was a very enjoyable trip from beginning to end. 

The drivers and guides who introduced us to the history, culture, and landscape of Portugal were very friendly and personable, knowledgable, flexible and enthusiastic; they made the trip so very memorable.

Each person in our party of 4 had favorite parts of getting to know 21st century Portugal. At the top of the list was eating authentic Portuguese cuisine and getting to know so many varieties of Portuguese wine. The guides provided valuable insights into our exploration and discovery of Portugal’s ancient cities, ornate castles and cathedrals, cork trees, rural countryside, and terraces of vineyards. Besides learning about the history and culture, we loved the visits to wineries, the coastal boat tour of the Algarve coast, and the evening of Fado in Lisbon.
