This Southeast Asia travel company exceeded my expectations on all aspects of the trip. From the hands-on process of setting up the itinerary (thank you to my agents!!) through the quality of services and guides provided to the amount of enjoyment I received from the trip, this travel company blew me away.

We had a medical emergency on our trip and our travel company turned what could have been a trip-ending experience into a non-event. They were able to reschedule numerous aspects of the trip with very little intervention and provide us with much support. Everything was handled professionally and I felt at ease the entire time. I can't tell you how much their support and services meant to me.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The best part of the trip was the quality of the guides that we had. They made the trip unbelievable. I would like to call them out individually so they get the accolades that they deserve:

My guide in Hanoi and Halong Bay, Vietnam. A wonderful human being. Knowledgeable, fun, funny, helpful, etc. His ability to provide impromptu excursions absolutely made my trip.
My guide in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I don't know what to say -- he is amazing! Bump-my-best-friend-from-my-wedding-and-invite-him kind of amazing. When I tour a historical site, I like to hit it hard. I don't miss anything. Having him guide me around Angkor was perfect. He was able to tailor on the fly, provide a rich history and be a wonderful companion.
My guide in Bangkok, Thailand. She is like the mom that you always wanted. She's spunky as all get out -- I didn't stop smiling for a second around her. Next time I go to Bangkok I'm going to skip seeing the city and just hang out with her! Just like the other guides she was knowledgable, able to change on the fly based on what I wanted, etc.

Seek out these guides. They are amazing!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

From the standpoint of the tour company, nothing. From the standpoint of the trip, I would take more time at each location. I tried to cram in as much as I could and while that did allow me to see everything I wanted to see, I didn't get any downtime. For full disclosure my travel company did recommend against my marathon trip telling me exactly what I ended up learning. So I guess I would listen to my travel company more :)
