Review: Luxury Spain Vacation, Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, Seville, Granada, Toledo, Ronda, Segovia, Jerez Horse Show

There are so many superlatives about the trip that I could write a book. 

We managed to see an Easter week float procession in Sevilla and another in Granada. How great was that?

Our favorite hotels were in Seville and Granada (room 304 is the only tower room with 360 views of the Alhambra and Generalife, highly recommended. Also the meals were great there.) 

Almost all of the excursions were highlights but, those that really stick out to us are: the Prado; the bullfight; the Jerez horse show (much better than the one in Vienna); the white villages; Toledo; Segovia; Ronda; Granada; and Girona. (We prefer the smaller places to Madrid and Barcelona but they were great too.) Ubrique for the leather was a treat. We liked Velasquez; Gaudi; and Picasso in his early years before he went weird.

In Girona we went to an ice cream shop where they had a treat in the shape Jamie's missing hand (Game of Thrones). We got a kick out of that.
