Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This was our second trip using a Zicasso referred agency, and we were not disappointed!

Our travel agency, and our contact there helped us immensely to plan a customized vacation to the Galapagos and Ecuador. We don't like to travel with groups, so everything was done to our personal taste.

Our contact went to great lengths to find the right small boat to the Islands...and as this was rather "last minute", he did a great job on pricing and route.

We did rent a car at the end of the trip and our contact gave us a super route, with good driving times and excellent hotels each night. BTW, we missed the earthquake in Guayaquil by about 3 hours.. felt it still in Cuenca!

Your representative that met us at our late night arrival was super. So nice and considerate and a good driver.

I am happy to recommend your services to all our traveling friends.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The boat in the Galapagos was wonderful. Just 15 passengers, and 10 excellent, caring crew members.

We adored our guide who was well educated on the animals, geology and history of these islands he loves so much. He was also very attentive to all our needs, helping Mike (who doesn't swim well) enjoy the best snorkeling experience. I will certainly come back to this perfectly maintained comfortable boat and do the other 8 days to the eastern islands.

Hotels: Having such unique and well located hotels at the end of a day's driving was dreamy... Each was very comfortable, good beds and pillows, good breakfast and helpful staff.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

LOL, I guess worry less. I was concerned about getting seasick, and we didn't (Bonine is the best) and the boat was stable. Also, as I was doing the driving, I was very relieved that the roads and drivers were fine.

I can't think of anything really that could be changed. It all worked out well
