Review: Luxury Trip to France & Monaco, Monte Carlo, Paris, Normandy, Seine River Cruise, American Cemetery, Wine & Cheese Tasting

Our trip to Normandy was the most humbling and moving part of our trip!  The tour guide was excellent and we will never forget our visit to the American Cemetery where 9,000 Americans were buried. Our guide also helped us to understand the tremendous loss of life that the civilians in Normandy experience during this timeframe.

The concert we attended at Sainte Chapelle, the picnic cruise on the Seine, the wine and cheese tasting and our walking tours were also stand out events.  

We also enjoyed visits to Le Louvre, the Orsay Museum, the Opera Garnier and Versailles as well as our visit to Eze and Lunch at La Chèvre d'Or!  

Finally, we would be remiss if we did not mention the magnificent treatment we received at the hotel in Monaco!  As it turned out the Hotel was under major construction in many sections and our room was effected by the construction noise.  It has always been my view that discontent does not come from issues when they arise, for issues are inevitable, but rather how those issues are resolved by management.  It this case the manager went above and beyond to resolve all issues and to make absolutely sure that were were perfectly satisfied.  We can't wait to return to the hotel!
