I really don't think we would have done anything differently in terms of trip destinations, hotels, activities -  but next time  (if we had the option) it would be good to go out of peak season. Not so much because of crowds (our itinerary cleverly kept us away from the busiest areas and our guides helped us avoid crowds and queues), but it was pretty hot!
