I would spend even more time in Ubud and go white water rafting. I would skip my stay in Pemuteran altogether, since it was the worst experience of the trip. There is nothing to see or do and the beach is dirty and the hotel doesn't offer any comfort and had major mold issues. I didn't feel the need to leave the hotel, because the outside of the hotel looked like poorest of the poorest neighborhood. It was wasted 3 days.

The reason all clients are provided with the local agent’s contact info and the guide’s contact number in your trip documents, is so that you can contact them right away, as soon as possible, if there ever is any issue
   
Although I am very choosey about hotels in client’s behalf and take many factors into consideration, if there ever is an issue, it’s important to let the agent know right away so that a change can be made to your satisfaction.

Even after hours you can call your guide and he will contact my local agent.  Any mold in a room is not acceptable; that’s not healthy. 
First we would have asked the hotel to change the room or room category.  If that still wasn’t satisfactory I would have worked on providing a move to another hotel if necessary. 

I did let the hotel know that the room was unacceptable after your return when I found this out.  This is a hotel I’ve worked with for years, and that many clients do like.
