Review: South America Honeymoon, Peru & Galapagos Islands, Lima, Cusco, Amazon, Machu Picchu, Cruise

We were in Peru and Ecuador for about two and a half weeks for our honeymoon. Coming all the way from Singapore, we wanted to make sure we could see as much as possible while being as hassle free and allowing us to enjoy our honeymoon and so we decided to use a travel company to help us with the arrangements. From our first contact with our representative from this travel company, he was very fast and responsive to all our questions and in helping us to tailor an itinerary that covered all the things we wanted to see, from the Galapagos islands to the Peruvian Amazon. He gave us his recommendations and various choices of accommodation and itinerary based on our budget and timing, which all turned out to be great choices. The guides on the tour were also wonderful and we never had to worry about any pick-ups and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I liked that our travel agent helped to plan an itinerary where there was still some free time in certain cities like Cusco and Lima for us to decide how to spend it, rather than constantly having a guide and having to stick to a fixed schedule, which was great given that we were on our honeymoon and we wanted some time to ourselves to enjoy the beautiful cities. Overall, we had an amazing first experience of South America with our travel agent's help and cannot wait to come back again to explore South America!
