Review: Tour of Australia, Melbourne, Sydney, Port Douglas, Daintree Rainforest, Yarra Valley Hot Air Balloon Ride & Wine Tour

We really enjoyed the trip and the tours that were set up for us.  We really liked   that all the transfers were worked out in advance.  It made the trip much less stressful.

We had a partial idea of places we wanted to go in Australia but not what was available.  Our travel agent was great to work with.  She set up a sample itinerary and we went from there.  She made a few changes we asked for and was responsive to our questions.  She was also responsive and took care of a minor travel concern while we were on our trip and sent a confirmatory email to make sure we understood the information.

We would do all the same things but would probably schedule an additional free day in Melbourne and Sydney. One of the tours in Melbourne would have been better at the beginning as it was a city tour and gave a us a bit of an orientation to the layout.  It didn't impact our trip as we didn't have much free time.  We loved the hotels and found them to be convenient and comfortable.  It was nice to have a small kitchenette or at least coffee in the rooms in the morning.
