Review: Tour of Italy, Rome, Florence, Venice, Tuscany, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompeii, Cooking Class, Wine & Cheese Tour

OMG!! I cannot put into words how awesome a trip we had. This was our trip of a lifetime in Italy for 2 weeks. There were 4 of us. Went to Florence, Tuscany, Sorrento, Rome, and Venice. I cannot give enough praise to this agent and the rest of the Zicasso team for the fantastic choices of hotels, private tours, restaurant selections, travel arrangements.  They truly far exceeded our expectations in every way. On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this trip a 2,500. Yes it was that great!! They are extremely well organized. We were greeted by their team the moment we stepped off our plane and taken to the hotel. At the first and second hotel they had bottles of Proseco in our room. Then we were picked up taken to the train station or next hotel by their team. Everyone was on time and we felt totally safe in every way. They even provided a contact in Italy who was available 24/7 if needed. 

The private tour guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, and had great sense of humor.

Some of the planned activities included 4 hour walking tour in Florence, a 4 hour cooking class, a wine and cheese tour in Tuscany (a fabulous 5-Star hotel), day boat trip to the wonderful Isle of Capri, a tour of a Mozzarilla and Lemoncello factory in Sorrento, tour of the ruins of Pompei, 4 hour/day walking tours of Rome including the Vatican, Saint Peter's Basilica, Sistene Chapel, Colisseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, 2 hour walking tour of Venice including a Gondola ride, boat trip to the Isle of Murano. Little things make a big difference and they had it all covered. This trip was a bit expensive but seeing other tours with 40 to 50 people we knew we made the right decision with Zicasso. They truly have the winning venue.
