Rwanda & Tanzania Luxury Vacation Review: Serengeti, Gorila Trekking, Game Drives, Wildlife, 16-Day Tour

We didn't feel that the chimpanzee trek was worth the 6 hour drive to get to that part of Rwanda. You couldn't get very close to the chimps and we could hardly see them with all the trees and brush. The lodge in Gisakura was fine, but we were so blown away by the lodge in Volcanoes National Park that I would have rather spent the last two nights there.
We also hopped around to different areas for game drives which was nice to see the various national parks, but felt like we could have skipped Tarangire because there were not many animals to see - I would only go there if it is during the migration.
