Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

My family and I had been waiting to travel to Scotland for years and we wanted the tour to be intimate and informative. When we finally had the money and the time, we were linked up with two potential travel groups, this travel company and another group. Once I spoke to Jeff, the owner of the travel company, I knew it was the right choice for us. Jeff listened to each member of my family and tailored the tour to meet our needs. We spent 10 days in Scotland, and we got to see and experience all the highlights and more. We could not have asked for a better vacation - it was the experience of a lifetime. P.S. I just have to say that our driver and guide was absolutely fantastic. She was energetic, informative and very personable - just an all-around wonderful person.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The most memorable moments have to be climbing the Old Man of Storr - our guide was a fabulous companion during this hike. Equal to that experience was the entire day out of Oban where we took the ferry to Mull and then got on a bus to then take another ferry to Staffa to see the Puffins. After visiting the Puffins, we took another ferry back to Iona to visit the Abbey. All this in one day! Mull was some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen with the deep green hills and the large number of waterfalls running off the tops of the mountain peaks. Visiting the Culloden Battlefield and Glencoe were also on the most enjoyable list. There are really too many enjoyable things to list.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

After taking this trip I would say that we definitely identify as Highlanders!!! So, we would stay North and West. Probably fly into Glasgow and then travel Northwest and stay a few days in Oban, Isle of Skye, visit the Fairy Pools (we didn't get see that this time), hike, hike, hike then visit the Outer Hebrides and then travel North to possibly see Orkney. But no matter what we did differently, I would still pick the travel company to be our guide.
