Our trip to Scotland was wonderful thanks to this tour company. The travel planner put together a delightful itinerary and selected amazing lodging for the entire 10 days. Our guide for our travels, made the entire adventure a truly remarkable experience. Our guide shared history of the places we visited using delightful stories. He took us on scenic back roads and got us through some of lines at some venues. I can’t begin to say enough positive things about our guide.
In summary, this was a trip we were sad to see end. We will be using this company for future travel!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The history explained through wonderful stories of our driver/ guide, as well as the delightful lodgings at every stop. The Scottish countryside is amazing and the people were warm and welcoming. This was our first trip to Scotland and we were able to see many facets of the country and the isle of Skye. We also enjoyed the in-depth tours of several distilleries and gaining a good understanding of the process god making whiskey. This was enhanced by a tour of a copper age to see how barrels are prepared.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Probably one less day on Skye ) I might not feel the same if the weather hadn’t been so rainy and windy limiting any walking and exploring)and perhaps more time in the highlands or a visit to St Andrews. But I truly think this was a great itinerary for a first time visit.
For a future visit I might extend time at a central level doing and do day trips from there. We loved the resort in braemar snd castle accommodations in Pitlochry. In future it might be fun to spend a day or two more at these locations.
