Jeffrey and his tour company made our visit to Scotland a very special time. From the first emails, he was responsive, thoughtful, creative and a great partner in developing our final itinerary. From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off the final day with a hug, Jeff made us feel like family.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Jeff’s choice of hotels was exceptional. All were walkable distances to the town centers (but not so close you were surrounded by crowds), with kind/attentive staff and excellent food. I would never have found these on my own. Having them to come home to every night after a long, busy day was a joy.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We had a rental car and drove ourselves everywhere outside of Edinburgh (I prefer a self-paced holiday where we set our own daily itinerary). That said, the Isle of Skye is a rugged place (pothole + popped tyre + damaged brakes = taxi to Inverness to pick up a new rental car), and in retrospect I would have taken up Jeff on his offer to drive us those 2 days. We very much enjoyed the Scottish people who helped us deal with the car problem, but I regret not seeing more of beautiful Skye.
