Spain Birthday Vacation Review: Bilbao, San Sebastian, Mallorca, Aran Valley, Barcelona, Rioja Valley Wine Tours, Guggenheim Museum

Through Zicasso, we had the pleasure of working with this agent, the CEO of this Spain travel company who helped us plan an extraordinary adventure through Northern Spain.  We started our journey in Bilbao, then went to San Sebastin and on through the Pyrenees to Barcelona. Spending 3 or 4 days in each spot was perfect as it gave us the opportunity to experience each location and really get a feel for the place. Our agent spent quite a bit of time with me in the beginning, wanting to get a better understanding of our interests and what type of trip we were looking for. In the end, he not only arranged for our hotels and transportation but made sure we had a personal guide for at least half a day in each city which made all the difference. Then he also arranged for specialty trips such as wine tasting in the Rioja Valley and Pintxos tastings in San Sebastain.  He provided restaurant recommendations and some 'hard to get' reservations for each location and supplied us with a portable WiFi which we used while driving. And if that weren't enough, he also checked in with us every few days just to make sure that everything was OK. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
