We took a once in a lifetime Mother & 3 Daughters trip to Spain. We went to Barcelona, Rota, Granada, Sevilla, and Madrid (plus days trips to Cadiz, Cordoba, Avila & Segovia) in 14 days!
I was able to customize the trip to my liking and our trip planner worked within the budget. It brought me a lot of peace of mind knowing that I can contact the trip planner anytime. Especially since there were some unexpected things that happened prior to a tour or if I just have a quick question. Our trip planner was very responsive (before, during and after the trip)! Having the Atendo service for our train rides was very helpful and this was not something we would've known.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Visiting La Alhambra in Granada was the best part of our Spain vacation. It was unfortunate that the weather didn't cooperate. I still rate this a 10 even if it was one of those huge tours. No complaints, I can't think of anything negative to mention except that the rain dampened the tour. The Sacromonte and Albayzin neighborhoods group tour was conducted by the same tour guide as the Alhambra group tour so that was a pleasant surprise and she did remember us. The tour was very educational and we enjoyed it and her company.
Lastly, the food! Some of our new favorites are chipirones, cochinillo, paella especial de marisco and tinto de verano.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

In hindsight and if money's no object, I would've arranged all/most of the tours as private tours with our own tour guide and having private transportation! I wasn't aware of my mother's mobility issues as I've never traveled with her before so she would've been more comfortable. We saved a lot of time and we loved the flexibility when we had the private tours. Our tour guides were able to point us to the best spots to take pictures/have our pictures taken and even played photographers!
