Spain Travel Review: Andalusia, Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Toledo, Ronda, Jerez, Alhambra Tour, Flamenco Performance

My husband and I just returned from Andalusia.  Our 2 week adventure was planned by this travel agency through Zicasso.

We love to go to Europe in the Fall for up to 6 weeks every year. Usually we plan the trip ourselves, renting a base apartment generally in Paris and then exploring from there.  This year I was dying to go to the Alhambra and we started planning.  We didn't want to drive so began trying to figure out the train schedules.  It was rather daunting so I found the Zicasso site.  The description of their services sounded like just what I was looking for. They did not disappoint!

Our trip to Adalusia started in Madrid with a private car picking us up at the airport that whisked us to a charming, hip, little hotel in a great Madrid neighborhood.  We continued to travel through the country in beautiful style and comfort - sometimes with a private driver and sometimes on trains (tickets provided).  We had private guides take us to cathedrals, mosques, tiny hill top towns, sherry tasting, tapas crawls, neighborhood hikes and a mind blowing tour of the Alhambra. We stayed in amazing hotels in great locations. We also had plenty of free days to explore and get lost on our own.  The private guides were amazing folks who really knew their stuff (I nicknamed them "rent a friend").  We got to know the country in a way we never would have been able to do on our own.

Bravo to Zicasso for the service they provide and to this travel agency for planning such a wonderful adventure for us.  We will use this service again and again.
