Traditionally I don't use travel companies for our adventures, but I wanted to try and make this trip unforgettable for my husband- and boy, am I ever glad I did! We had the most amazing time. The tour company took care of every detail so we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we landed until we were on our way back home.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We've discussed our trip at length with friends and family since returning. Our favorite part of Thailand was visiting the elephant sanctuary. Feeding them, giving them baths, playing with the baby elephant- the pictures we have couldn't capture the joy of that day. I'm smiling just typing about them. And Cambodia was Angkor Wat. It has been at the top of our bucket list for a long time, so being able to watch the sunrise over the temple, hand in hand with the love of my life, is a moment I will never forget.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

A guide suggested that we go see a Thai cultural dance show, so we did while in Bangkok. I should have done advanced research; I didn't know they used elephants in their show. We never, ever would have attended if we knew that ahead of time. Other than that, it was all perfect.
