Travel Review: 13-Day Iceland Vacation, Reykjavík, Blue Lagoon, Lava Fields

Guided tours by locals. It is relaxing when we do not have to drive plus we can ask questions of locals. Once we were on a back road through lava fields and learned that the guide’s father and uncle had built the road a generation earlier. Another time as we were touring our guide showed us his home, the homes of his relatives, and houses in town built by his grandfather. Very fascinating.
