Travel Review: Anniversary Trip to Italy, Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Chianti, Sorrento, Capri,Pompeii, Vatican, Sistine Chapel

Let me just say that we enjoyed everything! We flew into Rome and took the train to Florence for three days with day trips to Cinque Terre and San Gimignano/Chianti; then took the train to Sorrento for three days with day trips to Capri, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii; and lastly took the train back to Rome and spent three days there with day visits to the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, as well as Ancient Rome. We were just amazed by it all and couldn't believe that we were actually there! One memorable part of our trip was when we were in Sorrento. It was getting close to dinner time one evening and we were just passing by a restaurant called Caruso's and decided to try it out. It was fantastic! It ended up being a very romantic evening and everything was just perfect! I think we got lucky because you normally need a reservation, but we happened to go earlier in the evening, so I guess it was just meant to be. And come to find out, our travel company had suggested this restaurant as one to try, so I would highly recommend it to anyone else.
