Could not be more pleased with Jillian and this Australia/New Zealand travel company. When I first decided on taking this trip I asked a few travel agents to submit some suggestions. Most responded with very general ideas. Jillian came back with a detailed plan that covered all the things I was interested in doing. She worked with me for months to "fine tune" my itinerary being very responsive to my questions and concerns.But the thing that took her "over the top" was when the earthquake in Christchurch occurred a few days before we were due to arrive there. She came up with alternative plans, booked us into other hotels and re-arranged everything so we lost no time and were able to continue on with our trip. Felt like I had a guardian angel. Would have been lost without her. So glad i had her looking out for us.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

hard to answer as so much was enjoyable but I would have to mention diving on the great barrier reef in Australia as one and sailing into doubtful sound in New zealand as another. visiting lots of vineyards and drinking great wine was also enjoyable but the most memorable point of the trip was having lunch at Mudbrick vineyards on Waiheke Island in New Zealand with the sun shining and the smell of lavender in the air. As expected its the experiences you least expect that turn out to be the most wonderful. All the "planned trips/adventures' were fun but just meeting the folks or going to the farmers markets on Sat mornings in Hawks BayNZ turned out to be the most fun. .

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Skip the desert /outback in Australia.Yes its special but not worth the time, effort, money and energy to get there. Otherwise pretty much do the same trip again. We were lucky we had 6 weeks to spend on this trip so we were able to see and do just about everything we wanted to do.
