Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The travel agent did a good job of proposing ideas for the trip, being flexible as we made up our minds, and then all bookings were made correctly. This is what I would expect from a premium travel agent. The days in Sydney were particularly good, with great hotels and tours. However, the itinerary lacked some key information such as whether a tour was group or private, what kind of clothing was recommended, what kind of vehicle was picking us up (private or shared), and how to handle heavy luggage with small airline (we were traveling heavy due to long trip). We were able to deal with these, but it was annoying at the time.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The days in Sydney were particularly good, with great hotels and tours. The private tour and sail around Sydney harbor were excellent as was the hotel and hotel room facing the harbor.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Spend an extra day in Adelaide and one less day on Kangaroo Island (wife was not as interested in wildlife but liked Adelaide). I would also book the trip myself. I learned that I am a "do-it-yourselfer" on travel and do not get enough value from the premium paid to a travel agent for booking hotels, air, tours.
