Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our trip to Croatia was perfect. Every hotel was memorable in it own unique way. All the tour guides were interesting and truly loved showing you their beautiful country. The itinerary was designed with our 4 & 7 yr old rambunctious boys in mind. Our travel guide, thought through every detail and needed very little guidance on what we wanted. The planning was essentially hands off (which is what I was looking for) and majority of communication over email which helped manage time zone differences. I've recommended her to other friends thinking of taking a similar trip.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Hvar in general and particularly Dinner at the abandoned town, hiking the lakes in the national park, the scenic drive on the coast from split to Dubrovnik (with lunch at Ston), and an afternoon on Lokrum with the peacocks.

Also, another notable item is the nice outside playground right across the road from Zagrab airport which makes any length layover much easier with kids.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Skip the mini tour of trogir and in Dubrovnik we would've preferred staying closer to the old town to avoid the extra hassle of riding the bus.
