Travel Review: Croatia Tour, Dubrovnik, Livade, Split, Hvar, Plitvice Lakes, Diocletians Palace, Truffle Hunting, History, Culture

Our travel agent and her team were simply OUTSTANDING at every step of our pre-trip planning and our actual 7-day trip along the coast of Croatia this past April.  I would rate her TEN stars....everything was incredible and even better than we expected!

Three NYC friends and I decided to travel to Croatia, and I ended up handling the planning of this trip for us. In January, I contacted several travel agents who specialize in Croatia, as well as AmEx Platinum Travel.  I quickly realized that this agent was the most responsive and also had the best suggestions and comments for us.  I proceeded to work closely with her to put together our jam-packed exploration of Croatia's gorgeous coast. She was very patient with me, as I asked many questions and pushed to see as much as possible. I probably drove her crazy, but she was always very accommodating and provided excellent comments to make our trip the best it could be. 

We had the most wonderful driver for our entire trip, taking us from Venice to Dubrovnik in a very plush Mercedes SUV. He was much more than a "driver," he was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the history of the places we visited; he was also always very charming and very helpful. He made our traveling time truly fun!  In addition, we had excellent licensed local guides, who took us on educational walking tours of the various sites we visited.  We stayed in outstanding hotels in every city, and had terrific meals everywhere. 

We all loved our trip! Every day was a great adventure. And in Dubrovnik we got to meet our agent in person and thank her profusely for all her planning for us. She is delightful and talented and very organized....the BEST....and stunning as well!!  We all will highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a fabulous trip to this beautiful part of Europe.  And of course we all want to go back again!
