Travel Review: Croatia Vacation, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Perast, Split, Krka National Park, Wine Tasting, Local Culture & Cuisine

Wine tasting on Hvar and dinner at Malo Grablje.  We went to a wonderful small winery and even put the cork in the bottles of wine we purchased.  The drive was lovely and we stopped along the way to smell the lavender.  Also memorable was our visit to Our Lady of the Rocks, Perast.  All of our guides were memorable and went out of their way to accommodate us.  In Dubrovnik, we became fast supporters of the Croatian football (FIFA) team and rooted for them with each game we watched.  Our driver in Split took us to a sporting goods store in a mall in order that we could purchase an authentic Nike, Croatia team jersey.  So kind of him to take this detour for us.  As an added bonus, on our last day on the way to our evening flight, we stopped in Sibenik, a quaint, lovely town and had an outstanding meal at Pelegrini.   Krka Waterfalls were magnificent.  We had so many wonderful experiences, there was not a place on our itinerary that we did not enjoy.  We fell in love with Croatia.
