Travel Review: Custom Trip to Greece for Two

I would stay in different hotels. Except for Corfu, there was not a charming hotel in the bunch.l I cannot believe that such hotels do not exist in Greece. I was disappointed in our accommodations and location in Santorini. We were stuck outside of Fira instead of staying in the charming town of Oia and our hotel was very ordinary, even though the service was fine. We also disliked the hotel in Thessaloniki. It was the largest convention hotel in the City! This, after explaining that we liked small, charming hotels.There were multiple conventions going on there and I disliked the atmosphere. One more thing: Although most of our drivers were very helpful and pleasant, the man who picked us up at the Athens airport was unfriendly and unpleasant. He never said one word to us- of welcome or anything else. He acted the same when he returned us to the airport.He is a poor introduction to Greece.
