Travel Review: Family Trip to Spain & Portugal, Lisbon, Seville, Ronda, Beaches, Olive Oil & Winery Tours, Local Culture

We first arrived in Lisbon, Spain and right out of the chute our agent set up a walking tour of the city where we snacked and enjoyed a meal together with our guide.  This 26 year old was a hit with my two young adult kids.  The hotel chosen by our agent in Lisbon was great as the restaurant and bar was delicious and welcoming. 

Another enjoyable and awe inspiring moment was staying and experiencing Sagres, Portugal.  The Pousada Enrique Sagres was a fabulous accommodation.  We enjoyed the two beaches and the small town vibe.  

By far our favorite experience was in Spain where we spent the day with our local guide who proudly showed off his hometown of Ronda.  He guided us through the beautiful rural areas where we toured an olive mill and organic winery.  Our family soaked up the views with our guide along the bridge in Ronda. Our agent described it as a "plunging gorge".  Whatever it is, this town is a must see and we were grateful to have this guide at our side.
