Travel Review: Family Vacation to New Zealand & Australia, Sydney, Great Barrier Reef Diving, Lord of the Rings Site Tours

In general, for both countries we delighted in the scenery, the flora, and the fauna. We enjoyed learning about the indigenous peoples and their cultures. Additionally, we felt that all of the people we interacted with were friendly, gracious, and fun. 

In New Zealand, we loved the majestic scenery and the Lord of the Rings tours. We were able to see many beautiful areas of the countryside as well as having them linked to movies we enjoy.

In Australia, one highlight was SCUBA diving off of Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef - the coral formations are out of this world! Another memory we will never forget was meeting our agent and her family. We were charmed by the entire family and we spent the rest of the trip laughing over remembered jokes, slang, and yummy food.
