Confirm my airport driver the day before -- they didn't show up. Check into my hotels locales - and find out how close they were to transportation centers (train, airport etc.) and other tourist spots. Have maps of where my hotels where located in relation to all those things as well. I would also up my budget a bit, and stay in nicer hotels.
