Vietnam Travel Review: Hanoi, Saigon, Ha Long Bay

Pros:  

- The agent I worked with was very polite and professional.

- The same itinerary with a US agency was about four times more than this Vietnamese agency - same hotels, same travel arrangements, same site seeing and excursions.

- The guides and drivers were great!  Good English (not perfect), but so professional, friendly, and flexible.  We basically had a guide and driver with us 24/7 and I can only say good things about them.

Cons:  

-  Language barriers and social differences led to miscommunication with the agency about our preferences.  I do believe this is a risk you take when using a local agency instead of a US agency. 

- I felt that the trip was geared to a lower end, less experienced traveler - Best hotels with worst rooms, Custom tailor with cheapest fabrics and design, Domestic travel with middle seats, back of plane.
