Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

From the very beginning of deciding what our itinerary should include for our trip to India, Zicasso put us in touch with two top notch travel agents who presented us with suggested itineraries. We went with this company due to our communication with our contact there. We felt a good vibe in her emails and her call to us in the USA. Once landing in India we were treated like royalty! We could not believe how choreographed the trip was; from being met by a travel representative at each airport and city stop, to having professional and personable drivers, excellent English speaking city guides and phone call checkins to make sure the trip was going well for us or if we had any concerns. We especially enjoyed our face to face meeting with our travel representative in New Delhi. We can honestly say we have never experienced such professionalism when traveling.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Each and every city we visited had its highlights and our 21 day itinerary was jammed packed with amazing sights, sounds and experiences. Here are some of the most memorable highlights of our trip:

I think every hotel upgraded our room!
The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel
Kerala State - especially the houseboat cruised in the backwaters
The elephant ride in Munnar
Celebrating my husband's birthday at the hotel where the hotel gave him a cake and signed poster (this info was given them through our travel company
Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at Coconut Lagoon where we were given a bottle of wine and note from our travel company!
Varanasi experience - nothing in the world like this ancient and vibrant city
The Taj Mahal - breath-taking to see in person on 2 visits - sunrise and sunset
The Dhavari Slum tour - essential tour in our eyes for everyone to experience and see this hard working community and their environment.
Walking tour in the Blue City of Jodhpur.
The list could go on and on....

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We had an action packed itinerary for every day of our 21 days. We might have wanted some "down-time" but it was our option at any time if we wanted to. We just did not make use of that as there was too much to see and experience. Perhaps we would request a few more smaller boutique type hotels as we loved the ones we stayed in, especially in Varanasi.

It is hard to say what we would do differently when everything was perfect in our eyes!
