Travel Review: Ireland Vacation, Clifden, Dublin, Doolin, Kinsale, Dingle, Sheep Dog Demonstration, Distillery Tour

The planning process was flawless and after hearing our input, our travel agent put together a great itinerary.  Since other travelers' reviews boasted about the benefits of a private driver/guide we decided to try it.  We had a guide who seemed to know every nook and cranny of where we were traveling to.  His recommendations for sites to visit, restaurants, bars, etc. were perfect.  If weather wasn't cooperating, our guide knew the perfect alternative so everyday went on without a hitch.  It allowed us to have a lot of flexibility during our trip.  Having a driver/guide allowed us to enjoy our trip stress-free and we learned so much more about Irish culture than if we didn't have him with us.  Everyday, he gave us a Irish history lesson and a joke of the day, which was always one of the highlights of our day. 

We stayed overnight in Dublin, Clifden, Doolin, Dingle, and Kinsale and all the accommodations were top-notch and included a superb breakfast.  While driving during the day, our guide also stopped at multiple towns and sites along the way so we saw much more of Ireland than we anticipated. 

Lastly, someone in our family was sick in the beginning.  Our travel team went above and beyond to help out and change arrangements.  Thankfully he quickly recovered, so that he could enjoy the trip.
