Travel Review: Ireland Vacation, Killarney, Dublin, Belfast, Dingle Peninsula, Guinness Tour, Kilmmainham Geol, Culture, Nature

Having a designated tour guide assigned to us for the first part of our trip made our experience truly memorable.  He was an expert driver and guided our vehicle along very difficult roads without incident.  At one point, as we traveled the Dingle penisula, our guide had to get out of the vehicle to assist an obviously overwhelmed young lady who was completely blocking traffic in both directions.  His expertise in driving these very difficult roads was obvious.  Our guide's seasoned and vast knowledge of the country's history, culture, geography, and local offerings combined with his charm, elegant manner, and uncanny ability to anticipate our needs before we even recognized them ourselves created a unique and enjoyable experience.  The scenery and excursions in Killarney were brilliant.

The accommodations chosen for us in the three cities visited were outstanding.  Each was unique in design and all beautifully furnished, clean, centrally located and offered wonderful food and a very warm and friendly staff.  

The highlights of our Dublin trip included the Guinness Connoisseur tour (a very unique and fun adventure), a coastal hike in Howth on a beautifully sunny day, and the tour of the Kilmmainham Geol.
