Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Doug and the Italy tour operator were terrific... he listened to what we wanted...and then found exactly the resources in every spot. Great hotels, wonderful tour guides and activities and drivers/transfers where we needed him! I would recommend them to any type of group. He has 'on the ground knowledge' of each location and gets great value for your $$$.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We were two adults traveling w/ our college age son for an early spring break in March...We had a fabulous trip. Venice for the last weekend of Carnival was magical! Florence was beautiful..including our day hiking at Cinque Terre...and then Rome...amazing antiquity in a big city! All of our hotels were small, historical, interesting...but had all the amenities of great hotels (great beds, big towels, hot showers and wonderful staff). Our tour guides in each place were 'experts' and charming...we walked and they told us the story of each city or spot we were visiting...Amazing guides!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Spend more time in Florence...revisit Venice in warmer weather for the outer islands...
