Travel Review: Italy Family Vacation, Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Vatican, Colosseum, Forum, Local Food & Wine

The entire trip was memorable.  The most memorable parts were the following:

1.  The hotel near Montepulciano where we stayed while in Tuscany.  A beautiful place.  I wish we had had their chef cook more than one meal because it was wonderful.  My family wishes we had spent more time at the Villa.

2. The tour and wine lover's lunch at the winery.  What a beautiful place and the lunch and wine were outstanding.

3. Our tours of the Vatican, the Forum, and the Colosseum. Those are always memorable and always a must when going to Rome for the first time.

4.  Our evenings in Rome eating at sidewalk cafes.  One place to have drinks that was recommended by our travel consultant and was absolutely wonderful was the Terrazza Borromini.  The view of Rome is outstanding and watching the sunset was wonderful.
