Travel Review: Italy Tour, Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Local Food & Wine, Art

I was very pleased with this travel agency and plan on using them again in the future.  I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 for the simple fact that we were quite excited about the underground Naples tour, of which was recommended by this company.  Unfortunately,  we had a not so good guide.  He not only took our small group on a 5 hour wedding crashing tour of the Catholic Churches of Naples ( of which I will say  the weddings and churches were quite beautiful) but then left us somewhere in the city outside of a Church in the middle of a wedding party.  Never leave home without your google maps!  It's what got us back to our hotel.  Our guides for Capri and Pompeii were incredible!  I can't go on enough about our next guides (our Pompeii guide really knew her stuff and was awesome! )  Our day 3 and 4 guides were great as well.  Overall, this company did a fantastic job creating our itinerary and setting our trip up.  We just had the sketchy guy from the first day that I was quite disappointed in.  FYI,  we never did see the underground tour that was presented in our package.  We got a side show tour with the explanation ( after we pressed him for an answer ) that the tour we were promised had been discontinued due to vandalism.  I found out during our Herculaneum tour from a British group, that they had the same underground tour that was advertised/booked for us on the same day that we were scheduled and it was awesome.  I was very disappointed about missing that tour, but sometimes these things happen.  Fortunately, we had additional guides that went above and beyond after that first day, so we knew that he was a one off and not the standard for the entire company.  I just wish I had remembered his name so I could report him to This company so the next tour group isn't taken advantage of as we were.
