Travel Review: Italy Tour, Rome, Cinque Terre, Portofino, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Monterosso, Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius, Herculaneum

The trip was wonderful and exactly as we planned.  Zicasso did a wonderful job in matching us with this travel agency to help us with our itinerary.  Our agent really listened to my goals for the trip and quickly proposed an itinerary.  A few changes were recommended by both our agent (based on her experience) and ourselves (usually based on misinformation and wants).  We were so grateful for our agent's help and expertise.

It was our first time in Italy, but we wanted a specialized itinerary.  4 days in Cinque Terra, 6 days on the Almalfi Coast, and 4 days in Rome.  No rushing, every other day off to do/plan our own activities.  Our agent not only planned and arranged day trips to Portifino, Capri, Pompeii, Herculaneum, several in Rome, and others but she suggested things we might want to do on our own.  All tours were either private or at most small group.  All of the tour guides were extremely pleasant but more importantly exceptionally knowledgeable.  

Excellent accommodations were suggested and arranged for us by our travel agency.  The company was fairly close to our Arizona home so were able to pick up our paperwork and meet in person the entire staff.  All were very friendly,up beat, knowledgeable and responsive.

We would definitely recommend this company to anyone interest in a very special Italian vacation!
